I'm Charlie Leagra. Before Kyveras, I spent more than 20 years in IT and cybersecurity leadership, most of it figuring out how to make security requirements actually workable for the teams that had to live with them.
I started Kyveras because that same problem kept showing up at startups: they needed SOC 2 or ISO 27001 to close a deal, but hiring a CISO wasn't realistic yet, and the "compliance in a box" platforms left the hard judgment calls to them anyway. So I work directly with founders and engineering teams — not through a sales layer, not through a junior associate — to get certifications done in a way the team can actually maintain afterward.
I turn down engagements that would mean piling on controls nobody needs just to look thorough for an audit. If a policy doesn't serve your business or your actual risk, I don't recommend it. That's not a differentiator I invented for marketing — it's just how I'd want it done if I were the founder writing the check.
